Using the Druid Craft deck I asked guidance for the month of June 2012.
Position 2 Position 3 Position 1
Main challenge Advice Main gift
Empress Queen of cups Queen of wands
The first thing I notice is the presence of 3 ladies of 3 different elements and none looking at each other.
The main gift from this month of June is represented by the Queen of Wands (fire).
I take it that this month I will be very creative and driven. I will be full of energy, very active and on the go. It is likely going to be a good month work wise.
The main challenge in June comes from the Empress.
One aspect of this card is creativity. Since I know that is not going to be a problem, given the presence of the queen of wands, I think the challenge will be in mothering and nurturing. The presence of two queens as well as the empress all points in this direction.
The Empress is called Lady in the Druid deck and it is a beautiful picture.
The Lady is gorgeous. She is also pregnant and she looks like she could be due any day.
Both of her arms are busy holding symbols of the abundance in her life.
I ask my self how is she going to manage to stand up, or get going. I think this is the key of the reading today.
The queen of wands is a force of nature. She is full of passion. She goes after her vision with no hesitation. She gives 100% and she moves fast and with determination.
The Empress on the other hand is also strong, powerful and creative, but she cannot be fast and agile because the fruits of her labor are slowing her down. She literally has her hands full, plus she carries the weight of the baby.
So I think that June will be a month full of opportunities which the Queen of Wands will want to take full advantage of .
The frustration will come from being already stretched in many directions both with business and family. I have two kids. As every parent knows the busy lives of our children affect our own all the time.
The advice to me is the Queen of Cups.
I notice how she seems to be coming from the queen of wands and about to cross the water to reach the Empress. She carries a cup in her hands as a gift. Just like the empress she is dipping one foot in the water (feelings and intuition).
The Queen of Fire is strong and generous, but patience is not her thing. She may in her intensity be a bit insensitive to those around her.
I think the Queen of Cups here is suggesting to slow down a tiny bit to consider feelings also.
She advises me to listen to my heart as well as the voice of others and then follow my intuition to find a happy medium.
