Here I am with the weekly card of guidance.

We have a tough one, the Tower, Major Arcanum 16.

The Tower brings an element of shock.
It breaks down our sense of security.

The Tower is associated with the element of Fire.
It usually strikes quickly and unexpectedly.

Let me give you a few examples of how the Tower could manifest for you this week.

Let’s start light.

Things break down. It could be an appliance or your car. It brings an unexpected expense and it messes with your plans.

A heated argument.

A blow to your ego.

Any kind of accident.

Mother Nature causing trouble.

Discovering that a relationship is not as strong or as happy as you believed it to be.

Being fired. Being dumped. Being evicted.

Is there a silver lining to this card?
Yes. The Tower often destroys something that is not solid or good for us anymore.

It often brings those changes we did not have the courage to make.

Put it this way. You keep fixing up a house that is built on the edge of an eroded hill. You know the hill can give away any day, yet you keep spending time and money fixing the house.
When the Tower shows up, the hill slides down and the house goes with it. The loss is hard to take, but it forces you to start building somewhere else. Hopefully on solid land.

May the Tower blow gently in our lives and may we have the strength and wisdom to deal with it.
